Fabric Tape and Embellished Correspondence.

Have you heard of fabric tape?
It's one of the hottest supplies right now in the craft world! I have spotted so many packages prettified with it around the internet, that finally decided to purchase some... and I'm officially in LOVE!!

You can find it in many yummy colors and patterns, and it has so many creative uses!
As for now, I used it to embellish my correspondence...

It is real fabric with an adhesive back... so you just have to cut it to the desired length and apply wherever you want!

Attach a stripe to a plain cardboard, add a sentiment, and let it spread some cheer among your dearest ones! You can also embellish your envelope, so the mailman will be happy too ;)

And you? Have you tried it? How do you use it?

Hope your week is off to a cheerful start!

  12. Oh that looks like SO MUCH fun! I admit I missed all the hubbub over this tape! I muse find some now (I'm sure my daughter would love using it, too). Another big thing is patterned duct tape (it's a very strong contractor's tape, but now decorated with youthful patterns). Kids are making tote bags with it! ;)

  19. Hi Monica! Oh I adore this tape too, the gingham is gorgeous! I use it on preserves as labels, spice jars too, it's so much nicer than the bought labels! Sorry I haven't been in touch about the console table but I've been hunting through my books and on the web for furniture ageing tutorials! I will be back soon with a few ideas. Warmest wishes from a 500 year old farmhouse! Glenda xxxx
